Patiently waiting.....

Goodness it is cold here in Weat Wales and pouring down that the front garden is again like a bog.

The new flower bed has been prepared and the plants layed out but nothing more I can do until it stops raining so I can get out there

before it was dug out

but it should look nice when
it does get planted up.

The roses have been purchased too
But it's too wet to venture
out to show the names  of
what we have chosen.

We have also
purchased two new rhubarbs
and these we
did manage  to plant
first thing Sunday
before the rain returned.

A bit of sewing

My first attempt at a fabric bowl.

May be a few more if this weather continues.

Oh nearly forgot

    1. Thank you, Fred is making himself at home for sure...all the plants nearby remain slug and snail free I am sure because of him.

    1. I love toads and frogs...no slugs or snails on the border....no damage to any plants so I think he is enjoying the free grub and his little pond too.

  8. Your new bed is really starting to take shape. But how infuriating that you can't get out there to plant out. Rain has stopped garden play here too in Essex.

  10. Hi Maria it looks lovely. Its been peeing it down here non stop too. I am hopeful that today is going to be a drier day than the past couple. You have been busy with the crafting. They look really good - and at least you are getting to play. Pattypan xx

  11. I'm thinking that Fred the frog is the only one enjoying this soggy weather we are having at the moment. Its so annoying when you want to get on with the garden and its so wet - I'm sure its going to look wonderful when planted up.
